Commissioned by the Lions Eye Institute Foundation, I took their logo which was essentially two oval faces that intersect and designed a piece that made the logo come to life. The two heads became the heads of two interwoven bodies. One reaching up toward the possibilities of the future and one reaching toward the other figure. Their lives are intertwined. When we die and donate our eyes for others, a very special relationship is born. Each life is touched by the other. It is a gift that carries the giver onward into the future and one that brings light and love to the recipient for the rest of their life.
