Artist’s Notes:
This word sounds so wonderful, and music is so magical that I tried to combine a little of what makes music—instruments and voice and notes—to create a sculpture that speaks of all these things in one shape. If you look closely you can see the instruments. I tried to portray guitar, piano, sax and you can see the lips of what I imagine to be someone’s voice and you can see a musical note at the base of the piece.
